We’ve made it as easy as possible to log in from any device - no matter where you are, you can get into your store's admin to manage your shop or make quick changes. To log in, we just need a couple things:
Shop URL
Looking for your shop URL?
Your shop URL is listed in the Shop domain section. Head to Shop settings to locate it, then use your shop URL and password to log in at my.bigcartel.com/login.
If you have trouble logging in, email support@bigcartel.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll help you find your shop URL.
This is the web address or subdomain for your store. So if your store is located at example.bigcartel.com, you can enter either example or example.bigcartel.com in the Shop URL field.
If you’ve logged in before, we’ll remember the last Shop URL you used.
Logging in for the first time? Here’s how your shop URL is created
When you log in using just your email address and password for the first time, Big Cartel automatically creates a shop URL for you based on your email.
For example:
If you sign up with whalesrule@me.com, your shop URL will be created as:
whalesrule.bigcartel.com
You won’t be prompted to choose a custom shop URL during login that happens after your account is created in your Shop settings.
Password
This is the password you’ve created for your store. If you don’t remember it, no sweat - we can send a password reset to the email address we have on file.
Phone number
Protect your account with a phone number.
Adding a phone number gives you a backup way to sign in if you forget your password—we’ll text you a secure access code.
After logging in, each time you visit your store’s admin we’ll automatically keep you logged in for 30 days. If you don’t visit your admin for longer than that, we’ll have you log back in to keep your account secure. We also send you an email any time we detect a log in from a new device so you're in the loop.
Steps
- Head to my.bigcartel.com.
- Enter your shop URL (example.bigcartel.com) and your password.
- Click Log in.
